I remember when I called Grandpa to let him know that I had had my son.

Grandpa had answered the phone in his normal manner. I said hello Grandpa, Do you know who you are talking to.. he just smiled and say well I do, You are my little chipmunk. Grandpa always knew it was me.. He was so happy to hear from me and to know that everything went good with Darian's birth. I talked to Him for at least a half hour. We talked about the family a bit and He said Chipmunk I am so proud of you. I miss him so much and wish that I could have shared Vanessa's birth with him as well.
