When I got Gidget she was nine weeks old and so tiny. The breeder gave me a toy with her litter mates scent on it that was as big as she was. When I got her home I threw t for her and she ran and got it. So smart! As soon as she chas big enough she graduated to her all time favorite toy, a squeezing tennis ball. She fetched those even after she when not blind. I love her so much!

I took Gidget to Denver when my sister had surgery. My sister was in a pet friendly hospital so Gidget stayed with me in the hospital. She had never seen snow before and it was January so there was lots of that. My brother-in-law bought her some little boots to protect her feet from the salt. She marched around in those boots like she was all that!! (I still have them) she visited as many patients as she could, and was the best most beautiful girl! I'll never forget her!
