Gilda Ann Daffin, age 65 passed away peacefully Janurary 18, 2013 after a couragous battle with cancer at OU Medical Center Oklahoma City.   She was born in Lawton, OK, December 26, 1947 as the daughter of Phillp and Charlotte Swyden.  

Gilda Ann Daffin is survived by her husband of 43 years Jimmy Daffin; mother Charlotte Swyden; brother Phillip Jr. Swyden; daughter Tabitha Bishop and son-in-law Adam Bishop; daughter Brandi Brown and son-in-law Andrew Brown; 4 grandchildren: Gabriel Bishop, Dylan, Layne and Landry Brown.  


The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors of the OU medical center for their expertise, professionalism and genuine warmth and compassion for our mother. We would also like to thank all of our family and friends for their kindness and support. 

Gilda had the most beautiful spirit and was the epitome of strength, compassion, loyalty and unconditional love for all the lives she touched.  


We will forever miss your smile and the "sunshine" you brought to each of our lives everyday.
