|Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30|

"Forever in our hearts Ma Gla."
"Ma Gla! Ma Gla! i can't stop crying for you were a soul mate. I am still in shock to know i will be dropping off a word for you as a tribute. Well! Thanks for being my confident, my friend, a big sister i have long needed, a playmate, my everything. Thanks to you i knew what a valued friend meant. I have a lot to tell you but where are you? If i am hurt, you are there to listen to the story and as usual you will support me. You addressed me with all the big titles each time you had to call on phone. You favorite address you had for me was Her Excellency, Honorable, Senator, Chief, CEO, Adah then i will add Fombu because i knew i belonged to the Fombu family. May those titles come to past cause you prophesied it in my life. Thanks to you, i understood what signs a woman will have before given birth to a baby. that i had for my very first child. Weeeyyyy! Ma Gla why why why? why now? I love you forever. My kids, family and i will miss you. Wait a minute Ma Gla, so tell me i will never ever see you again? no talk to you again? Chaaiii.
Forever in my heart. Love you always."
"Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
Ma Gla, your legacy was your precious smile all the time. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace . Eric Tah"
"Mabot, in our eyes your time on earth was short, but in God's eyes your mission on earth has been completed. We know it is the Lord's plan and for that reason, we will not question him. Amidst our sadness and tears, we're consoled because we know you are resting with your Heavenly father were you will experience no more sicknesses or pain.Your legacy lives on, and you will be missed. Sleep in peace sister, until we meet in glory."
"Mabot my daughter, you should be the one writing my tribute.
Here I am with a heavy heart and unending tears for your great lost.
What a life Mabot? What a world?
You were my positive thinker full of inspiration, who will console me at my breaking point?
How can you do this to us?
How can I ever forget you Mabot? You always tell me " Mami if you breakdown your enemies will rejoice, put your problems to God Mami, He'll solve them and put your enemies to shame".
As a family we will never forget you, You left so soon.
Did you even think of me granny or son as you always call Asaha your brother's son or of your family as a whole?
Mabot you fooled me, who will pick me up at the airport? Who will pack my bags? Mami you want anything for Doaula? As you will ask me.
All these questions and thousand others will never be answered.
I pray for you my daughter May your gentle soul Rest in Perfect Peace.
Love you more. Granny Fombu."
"MA GLA, I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE NO MORE. I CANNOT ALSO ASK GOD WHY NOW.
SINCE GOD OUR CREATOR HAS ALLOWED IT TO BO SO , I CAN ONLY SAY :
" THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL THAT MA GLA HAS BEEN AND FOR ALL THE TIME YOU GAVE HER ON THIS EARTH. TAKE HER HAND LORD AND LEAD HER HOME ".
MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE."
"Someone as special as you will never be forgotten. Words cannot express how we grieve at your loss. Your loss may be unbearable but your precious memories will never fade".
"Sleep Well Ma Gla"
"Thousand times I needed you, you were there.
Thousand times I have cried, you have wiped my tears
If love alone could save you, you never would have died.
Your heart of gold stopped beating, your eyes closed to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best .
I wish I had told you how special and important you are to me.
Rest Ma Gla...I feel so empty without you."
"Will Forever Miss U."
"She says to all
"Please don't cry
Just because we had to part,
as long as you remember me,
I'll live in your heart.""
"RIP Ma Gla"
"The news of your sudden death has kept me numb and I can't believe I am typing a tribute in your memory Ma Gla. You were more than a sister-inlaw to me. Very unique in your own ways. Despite being a little sister to you, I got all the respect a wife could get from her sister-in-law. Ever since I came into the Fombu's family the name Odette died from your lips and you called me Mama as your expression of Love/Respect and "Catha" when it was time for for me to take order. Not even once did you forget my birthday or your sons Daniel Asaha and Ivan, on which days you will call us even from afar to bless us. Your last words to me on March 9th were "Mama God Bless you" when you called in to check on us once more. Those words have been echoing in my ears since I learnt of your sudden death. I wonder if you had the chance to see the pictures I emailed you of your youngest son Joel who is only a month old. I will miss hearing you call the kids "small mop dem". I can go on and on because I expirienced peace having you as a very caring big sister. You have left a big vaccum in my heart which only God's grace can refill. All my dreams of bringing your "Son" Daniel Asaha to you in Dla will not be realised here on earth. I am however comforted by the great times we spent in Douala, your numerous calls to wish me, Ivan and Asaha happy birthday. I believe you are resting from all the pains and worries of this world. Until we meet to part no more, Rest In Peace, Ma Gla."
