Ann, you are gone but you still live on in our hearts. Your were a good person, a wonderful friend and like a sister to me. I can still hear your voice in my head and some of the funny things you would say. Rest in peace my friend and know that you will be loved by me and many others forever.

"R.I.P Ms. Glenda Hill. You had a beautiful smile and a friendly demeanor, but don't get it twisted, you weren't a pushover. I loved how you always put a little bit of you in every meal you prepared at the 118th AW. You were a beautiful person. I'll miss you. You'll never be forgotten."

Now you are joined with your mother, my great aunt Ollie;, your dad, uncle Joe, and your brother, Joe Joe. Rest in Peace and greet all your Forsh/Force relatives that left this world before you.

I see this feather and I am reminded of an Angel's wing, I think of you and I know that you are now in the presence of Jesus. Your smile was a bright spot in our days at Berry Field, you were a hard worker and it was a great joy to know and work with you. We will meet again, when our numbers are called. In the meantime I will continue to help children who are abused and neglected, I will need a lift every now and then, I pray that you'll be there along this path of life. We miss you Glenda but we know you're watching over us. Til we meet again. Love Connie Crass Ritter

My TN Air National Guard Buddy,

I close my eyes to visualize your face when you were here, I rejoice in the times we spent together in faraway lands and they are locked inside my heart forever.
I will always have the memories working side by side in the kitchen mastering your recipes and thus you will never be far apart.
Even though we cannot speak anymore your voice will always be here.
TN ANG Drill weekends were never was the same when you left, food was awful because our Chef had retired.
No longer will you be here to share our Birthday, but I can guarantee not one Birthday will pass without a memory of my buddy.
You and your family will always be in my memories. Great friend I shed a tear for my heart aches that you are no longer here. Look for me at the Pearly Gate..... for I cannot wait to see you again! With much love, Shandy

My childhood memory of Ann

April 30, 2015

I remember that when I was very young, from about the age of 4 or 5 until I was in high school, Ann lived with her mother and father and her brother JoJo next door to my grandparents, Pauline and Lenon Hill.  I remember thinking that we must be related because Ann's family was also named Hill.  But, we were not related.

I still felt like Ann was my cousin because I spent so much time visiting with her and Mrs. Hill.  Their home was always open to me and my real cousins when I visited my grandparents which was almost every day.  I remember playing games in the summertime, catching lightening bugs and putting them in jars; playing rock school, hop scotch, roller skating, and trying to learn how to ride a bike.  Ann was older than I was and did not "play" with me but she always treated me with kindness.  She made me feel special and always had the nicest things to say to me and about me.

I thought Ann was beautiful.  I admired her.  She, in my eyes, carried herself the way a young lady should. Ann was elegant and graceful. I thought she looked like a fashion model.

Ann was the same age as my brother and one of my cousins who lived with my grandparents.  Being teenagers, they did not want to be bothered with me.  But Ann always took the time to be nice to me and I loved her for it.

I will miss her and will never forget her.
