Yesterday we celebrated a mass in your memory at St Benedicts church. It was as if you were there with us. The choir dedicated a song to you, the flowers and the memorial candles dedicated in your honor were beautiful.

I miss you deeply, mom.

A year ago today God called you home. It was one of the saddest moments of my life not having my last moments, a kiss and to tell you goodbye.
I'm at peace knowing your resting in heaven with God and your angels,
Forever loved
Your daughter

My dear mama, a year ago today God send his angels to come get you. I will always remember your sweet loving personality. Now all I have left is memories. I hope you daddy and Israel are reunited and watching over all of us. God rest your soul. We miss you.

My mother loved life, loved music and loved family moments.  One of her favorite hobbies was fishing and cooking. She taught us how to catch the best fish at the Coney Island pier. She cooked our favorite meals and if time didn't allow, chinese food orders would be on that table in no time. She taught us to enjoy the beauty of this world no matter where they were.  No better person could teach me the traditions of family gatherings. Whether two or fifty people showed up, it was all good to her.  Because of my mother,  I learned how important family is, and to be a family in the good times and through the difficult times.

She loved her latin music, especially Mark Anthony's hits.  Till her last days on this earth, she moved to happy music and greeted everyone by throwing kisses.. Her hospice team were amazed as to the joyful attitude she had till her last day and how she filled the room with laughter.

Mom, your life will be remembered by those you touched.

Your daughter, Iris
