Gloria Sarko Erdman, 61, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Uniontown, PA died Saturday August 17, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.

She was born on October 9, 1951 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Anne Check Sarko.

Survivors include a sister, Anna Marie Garletts; a brother, Joseph Sarko and wife Anna Marie; nieces Michele Cline, Melissa Trumpbour and Megan Cox; nephew David Garletts; close friends and neighbors; and her beloved dogs, Murphy and Gracie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Keith Erdman and brother in law Terry Garletts.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Jude, Catholic Church, 10725 Court House Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 on Monday August 26, 2013 at 10:30 AM

There will be no public viewing, interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude building fund.
