Mum it has been a year now since God & His Angels called you away. 
Oh, how Jan, Rita and Pat rejoiced as you walked through those pearly gates that day. 
Mum when they said you were going to die, I refused to believe it could be true.  I could not imagine saying goodby to you. I could not imagine never being able to hug your marshmallow soft skin again, or pick up the phone to hear your voice. 
Mom you turned into an angel here on earth.  You were kind and funny and oh what a talker and listener too.
You encouraged me to keep going when I thought I could go no further.  You encouraged me to see my strengths, to be my very best in all I chose to do.
Mum you gave all that was possible to your kids, grandkids and greats.  I know you are smiling down on all + your new little great granddaughter, Giovanna.  
You learned to be more than a Mom....You were my best friend....You understood..Oh, how I miss our "special" talks & all the laughs we had.
Mum I could never say goodbye to you because I could never bear the pain.  Instead I say I love you, Mum, until we meet again.  I MISS YOU!
