His Life
October 3, 2013

Greg was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta on May 19th, 1993. His easy going and friendly disposition was his first personality traits. Upon the arrival of his first sibling, Maisey in 1997 it was noticed that he was protective, nurturing and loved having another playmate in the house. In 2001 Greg's family moved to Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. Here he began his passion for motocross on a dirt bike. In 2005 Greg's family moved to their farm at Moberly Lake. Greg loved the farm and even joked about being a farmer when he grew up. In 2007 Brooklyn, another sister was born. Greg amazed his family with his comfort for the new tiny bundle. On the farm his love for motocross turned into trick riding and racing. He became a member of the Pine Valley Motocross Association in 2009. He was never the leader of the pack; he was even noted for having the most overall crashes but his riding improved and his love for it was apparent. In 2010 Greg finally had a baby brother, Nathan. In 2011 Greg graduated from Chetwynd Secondary. In October 2011 Greg began his job at the West Fraser Mill in Chetwynd. Mere weeks before his death Greg completed his Lumber Grading course and achieved a B! On Friday, November 16th Greg died in his sleep. The reason was not determined until 4 months after when his lung tissues were tested and the brochial pnemonia virus was found. Nobody even knew he was sick, even himself. He had a walking version where no symptons were seen. He was taken too soon and it will be a long time before we will truly accept that he is gone. Greg loved life and had many plans for his life.
