His Life

Grover Anthony Lovelace was born June 1, 1939 in Troup County, GA to the late Wiley *(Sr.) and Johnnie Mae Reed Lovelace. He departed this life on June 25, 2014 at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Fayetteville, GA

 

Grover was a product of the West Point Public School System and was a graduate of Harrison High School. After graduating for high school, Grover married and relocated to Atlanta, GA, where he lived the remainder of his life.

Grover possessed a strong love for God in his heart and shared that love with everyone he knew. He was a member of the Wisemen Club of Fairburn, GA.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Rowetta Lovelace, Snellville, GA; Romona(Angelo)Bowie, Douglasville, GA; Rosalind(Elwin) Lovelace-Edmonson, Houston, TX; Tauheedah (Jessicia Lampkin) Lovelace, Atlanta, GA; one brother, Terry Lovelace, West Point, GA; one sister, Dorothy (Elliott) Huff, Cleveland, OH; a special son in-in-law, Jeffery Bailey, Snellville GA; sister-in-law, Louise “Mapp” Lovelace, West Point, GA; twelve grandchildren, two great grandsons, one aunt, Omega Reed Hill Cannonville, GA; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends
