Jack was born on August 3, 1945 to Earline and John Henry Thomas. He had four sisters, Dorothy, Elaine, Joyce, and Mary. He married Linda Kay Stokes and was married for 48 years. They had 4 children together. Jackie, Bo, Carolyn, and Amy. He was a truck driver for many years and was a mechanic. He had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grand children. The grandchildren are Blake, Chas, Lora, Amber, Krista, Caitie, Jonna, and Aaron. Blake married Mallory and had the 1st great grand child, Griffin. Amber married Richard and had the 2nd great grand child, Hayleigh. Chas married JB and had the 3rd great greatchild, Brantley Jackson.  Amber and Richard then had the 4th great grandchild, Preston. 

He was a great man. He would give the shirt off his back to any one. He gave the homeless, a home, the hungry, food, the unloveable, love, the jobless, a job. He was a person like no other. Very opiniated but caring. He thought of everyone before himself. He knew the way he wanted things and thats the way they were done. He backed down from no one. He was the strongest man you would ever meet. He never gave up, kept pushing everyone to do the best. He only wanted the best for everyone. He showed you that he loved you in ways that you knew he loved you but at the same time you thought, wow, he is tough on me.
