Our American Legion Post is named for Private Harvey Lenig, who was a member of the 125th Infantry Regiment, Company C and part of the 32nd Division known as the "RED ARROW". Harvey Lenig died of his wounds in France on October 12, 1918 during one of the bloodiest offensives during World War I. 

Our VFW Post is named for Army Sargent Robert A. Klase who enlisted on Dec. 29, 1942. He served in the 37th Infantry Division Co A of the 129th Infantry and earned the Silver Star for his service.  He was Killed in Action on February 14, 1945 in Manilla, Luzan Island, Phillipines. He is buried in Lyons, Nebraska.
