Thank you for watching over me, I think about you everyday, I felt your presence, whenever I randomly smell bokhor, or see your name, I think you are with me…
Love you always and forever.
This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved, Hayatt Abdulrahman Wahba, 76, born on December 27, 1938 and passed away on January 11, 2015. We will remember her forever.
Hayatt (Halaweeyat:-)) was a gentle spirit, a kind soul, and a beautiful human being, a good woman, a loving mother, a present grandmother -as well as- many more wonderful roles in life that a few words can hardly portray how amazing she was.
She was easy to please, and never asked for much. She was my mother's mother, my lovely grandmother, and my daughter's great grandmother. Rest in peace grandmother, we will miss you, always love you & remember you EVERY step of the way. May the light fill you and surround you, may the angles guide you, may God bless you eternally:-).
The 1st Born child to my grandparents was a beautiful little girl named Tahani. My grandmother was 17 years old at that time. Tahani was fair, blond with beautiful blue eyes. Tahani, passed on at age 9 months old, due to breathing complications. This incident left my grandparents heartbroken and devestated, with an emotional scar.
Rest in peace little Tahani. You are loved.
One evening while enjoying a tiny cup of Turkish coffe, I remember when you told me about how you met my Grandfather Eissa:-). You said that you were engaged to another (family setup thing), he was a well-off & well established football player or something, you were 16 yrs old, but one day you met my grandfather and it was love from the first sight!
He told you about his heart condition (Heart Reeumatoid), and that he cannot get married, but if he did he will only live to be 23, per doctor's observation, you both did not care, and you both agreed to get married anyway.
You then left your arranged engagement, and ran away with him and got married by age 18. You had my mother, she was about 1.5, and you were pregnant with my uncle when my grand father passed on at age 23. - .
You asked about me and my daughter the night before your passing, and said: "I miss Yousra, I want to see her and her daughter, I will send them tickets to come see me."
Oh beloved Grandmother, I wish I was there to be by your side and hold you, I wish I was there to comfort you, I wish I was there to say goodbye...
Its only a wish, that can be delivered to the stars in hopes your are the brightest one of them and you will receive it.
