Helen (Mindish) Daly passed away peacefully on January 7, 2013 in her home at Emeritus at Cape May Senior Living in Cape May Court House, N.J.  She had just celebrated her 87th birthday with her family on December 2nd. Helen was born in Johnstown, Pa. She attended Garfield Jr. High and graduated from Johnstown High School in 1943. She was a member of the Cadet Nurses and graduated  as a Registered Nurse from the Women's Homeopathic Hospital (also known as Philadelphia Osteopathic Hospital) in 1947. She cared for many over the years and finished her career in 1967 when she retired from Cooper Hospital.  She was predeceased by her husband, John Joseph (Jack) Daly, her parents, 8 sisters, 5 brothers and her dear son James Joseph (Jimmy) who passed on 11/11/09. She leaves behind her sons Michael (Annette), John (Connie) and daughter Patricia DeClemente (Michael), 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly. Helen had good friends in Jackie Dyer, Evelyn Acker and especially Rose Marie Kilmon, who was always like a sister to her. Private services will be held.
