A native of Ft. Mitchell, AL., she was the daughter of the late Booker T. Sr., and Lizzie Mae Dixon Woods.

Residing in Columbus since 1966, she retired from AAFES at Ft. Benning, GA after 30 years of service. She was a devout member of St. John A.M.E. Church in Ft. Mitchell, AL., where she had been active as a Senior Choir member.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Booker T. Woods, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Artie Cobb(James), Nathan Suber(Charlene) and Michael Suber(Kimberlee); seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
