It was amazing to see folks come together and remember you, Mom. People raised a toast to you, too. I know you weren't big on things like that but I need you to know, there was a whole lot of love in the room for sure. Nature was everywhere, squirrels, bunnies, and man, a turkey the size of a baby ostrich. Spencer released a symbolic bunny ballon and later, as per usual, we all gathered at Auntie Lois' house.
Wrap your arms around all of us as we fill the huge hole left in our hearts.
Brother Jeff and I are coping - so far, so good. Please send an extra blanket of love for Steve as he works to get through all of this. I believe in him and I know you do too.
