Glad for her...Her faith has become sight. Her race is run and the warfare is over. She has realized what we all long for...to be faithful to the finish! No more sorrow, pain or confusion ...
But heaven's gain is our loss... What I've been thinking about the past couple of days already is about loosing prayer warriors. This is the second Helen we have lost this year...When I think of Auntie, I think of someone who loved all of us and probably prayed for us every day of our lives...and for our kids and grandkids and their friends and our neighbors, etc. etc. She used to ask me by name about each of Nate and Deb's team members... Having now lost her and Duane's mom both, I feel like 2 layers of prayer covering have been removed...and especially in this day and time, that's a huge loss to me! I'm very thankful for the warriors we still have with us, but realize that the mantle of being that type of prayer warrior is now falling to us...and that's a sobering reality.
