gran helga muller nicol was born on the 10th of september 1929 in luneburg germany she stayed with her perents minna muller and otto muller at kazenstrabe luneburg germany  gran came offer to london where she met john mclagan where they came up to scotland and where married in leith edinburgh they got a flat at rosefield place portobello  helga then had a daughter doreen in 1950  but saddly the marrage to john mclagan broke down  and helga stayed on at rosefield place gran then met george nicol who she later married and took over to germany to show her parents her new husband  later they moved to 16. mauricewood avenue penicuik   doreen and helga and george visted germany  alot  to visit  her mother and sister hilde. gran at worked at charles mckinlay and co in leith edinurgh as a telephonist george nicol became unwell and died of colon cancer in 1980  gran stayd on in the house in penicuik and then sold the house and moved back to borken germany in 1986 and rosalynn doreen and graeme visted her  there on a number of ocations. gran then decide tomove back to scotland and got a flat in herothill terrace but did not like it back in scotland so gran moved to luneburg germany where i graeme when to viste her there  . gran came over to scotland on my 21 birthday on the 29th of july 1995 where i was have a birhtday party in the malbourgh bar where doreen introduced robert murdoch to my grandmother they whent to canada and back and fourth to luneburg germany till my gran helga decide to move to carboblanco arona canary islands tenerife then got a falt back in scotland at junction place leith edinburgh
