Henrietta Amelia “Nettie” Standish (nee Weinhardt), 99, of Westville passed away May 26, 2018.

Mrs. Standish spent many years working as a waitress at Chestnut House Diner in Westville and Dunkin’ Donuts in Brooklawn. She assisted at the Sr. Center in W. Deptford and was a devoted member of St. Luke’s Church, Westville, for many years. She enjoyed fishing, clamming and camping, but will be remembered mostly for the loving care for her family and others.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Darlene (Gary) Searle, Kellyanne (Robert) Metheny, Julie Standish, and great grandchildren Amanda and Gary Searle, Kaitlyn, Jacob and Sara Metheny.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Myles Robert Standish, daughter Linda Halscheid, son Myles “Butch” Standish, parents Harry and Henrietta (Smith) Weinhardt, granddaughter Kimberly Standish and siblings Harry “Knute” Weinhardt, Pearl Strumpfer, and Richard Russell Anderson.

Visitation Sun., June 3 from 7-9pm and Mon. June 4 from 10-11am at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where services will begin Mon. at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
