Henry J. Stone, Ft. Pierce, widow of Mary Dugan Stone, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Son of Henry and Helen Mildred Mayo Stone, Henry was born and raised in Brewer, Maine. Henry was an ironworker and member of Local #15, Hartford, CT for 33 years. He was life member and past commander of American Legion Post 8, Hartford, and past commander of Post 40, Ft. Pierce, FL. Henry was life member of BPOE Elks Lodge 234, Westbrook , CT and Lodge 1520 Ft. Pierce; VFW Post 805, and AM VET Post 15, Ft. Pierce; and DAV. Henry was involved with Boys State, and also served on American Legion Florida State and National (Indianapolis) committees. Henry is survived by son, Henry (Tanya) Hajduk; grandson, Heath (Patricia) Hajduk; great grandson, Ethan; nieces, M argaret Moderacki, and Dixie (Douglas) Beaulieu; nephew, Joseph Reidy; god daughter, Marie (Reilly) Montalbano; as well as many very long time and good friends.
