I would like for the world to know , what a special man Joe was, yes he had his faults but who among us doesn't. He cared about everyone and would call you almost every day just to check on you. He never let his pain show, but he really went through a lot, but today he is with Jesus and his hands are not crippled anymore, he can walk and he is not feeling pain. He loved my little sister and for that, I will always love him, yes I am the girlfriend that he always told folks, but I really am Patricia's sister but yes I did love him. Big Joe see you again, and Greg will try and pull Duke through for you I won't say goodbye, that's to final, I'll close by saying it was an honor having you as part of our family. Big Joe will be missed... He was a wonderful loving man.. He loved his wife Patricia so much!! Yes he wasn't perfect but who is... I remember times at Joe and Patricia's house where he would laugh and joke with Aunt Barbara.. He was just a loving man.. This isn't goodbye it's till we all meet again!! I didn't really know Joe all that well but I have know Patricia for 37 years an from what I know an heard about Joe she had a good husband that loved her very much. The last time I saw Joe was 3 weeks ago an he was in good spirits an talking an having a few laughs. He was very thankful for all that God had done for him an he acknowledged that he was a miracle. He went thru a lot an now he's gone home where he will no longer suffer or be in pain an he will be waiting for all that knew him at the gates of heaven when God calls them home. Rest in peace Joe you have earned your wings.
