 Howard Merchant, 87 of Lanett, Alabama went home to be with his Savior Monday, April 20, 2015.  

Funeral service for Howard Merchant will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM EDT from Spring Road Christian Church.

Officiating will be Ministers Bob Phillips, Carl Shearer, Ron Lewis and David Bradshaw.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lanett.

The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM EDT until 8:00 PM EDT at the church.

Flowers will be accepted or gifts may be made to Spring Road Christian Church or the First Christian Church of Lanett.

Miss Nova- I am praying for you and your family regarding your loss of Brother Howard. I am so sorry! Having met both of you in Memphis at an evangelistic meeting and enjoyed lunch in St. Louis, I have always thought highly of you both! The Lord bless you and keep you!

Rev. Howard was a great man of God and true servant-leader. He was there for my family on numerous occasions and we were and are still appreciative for all that he did for us. I'm confident that he is enjoying his rewards in heaven. Thank you Brother Howard!

My deepest sympathy to Nova and the girls at this difficult time. Howard was a wonderful neighbor, friend and comfort to our family, especially when we lost Doug. You are all in my prayers.
