His Life

HUBERT J GEISER, 87, a special servant of God, Husband, Father, Grandparent, and Friend journeyed home to Heaven on December 13, 2013 while surrounded by family and friends after treatment for heart failure and natural causes at Parrish Medical Center.
Hubert is survived by his wife of 65 years Dorothy Jane (Burton) Geiser, sister Lu Ann Greene, Titusville, brother Marvin (Alice) Geiser Maumee Ohio. Hubert’s and Dorothy’s four sons, Larry (Julie) Geiser, Gary (Carol) Geiser, Ronald Geiser and partner James Paquin, and Scott Geiser; grandchildren Katie Geiser, Scott (Andrea) Geiser, Candace (Adam) Vaknin, Clifton Hampton, Niome Hampton, Great-grandchildren Allee, Sylas, Tyler, Kaden, Dominic and Breanna, many cherished nieces and nephews in Florida, Ohio, Alabama and Arizona, sister-in-law Lynn (Bob) Parker, Rachael (Wes) Sumner, Titusville, George (Glenna) Hartman Toledo, Lois Crowell, Ft Myers, Arthur Paquin Melbourne, dear friend Bill Kennedy, Titusville and many more.
Hubert was born in Toledo Ohio October 1926 and married Dorothy in April 1948.
Hubert is now in heaven with predeceased parents Marvin M and Sarah (Spengler) Geiser, Siblings Allen Geiser, Charles Geiser, Luetta Hardy, and Dean Geiser.
The family wishes to express many thanks to Drs. Frank Dienst, Juan Perez, Victor Boodhoo, and special caring nurses at Parrish Medical Center.
Hubert was a gentleman, put others before himself, and had a sensitivity to him that a lot of men try to hide. He had a work ethic like no other.
Hubert was a WWII veteran serving in the Philippines. Manager of Schwartz Hardware and Building Supply, Broker Schwartz Realty, Toledo OH until moving to Lake Park Florida in 1967 and was a Journeyman carpenter in Palm Beach County before moving to Titusville in 1969, where he worked for John Greene Truck Brokerage until retirement in 1993. In his later years he enjoyed staying active and worked part-time in Titusville’s Lowes tool department from 2006-2009.
Hubert was involved in his community and served as President of the Fox Hollow Home Owners Association; Vice Chairman Titusville Housing Authority; Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary Associate Member; Parrish Foundation Member; Parrish Medical Center Life Line and other volunteer work; Member of the First United Methodist Church, Church Administrative Board, Trinity Sunday School Class, Chancel Choir; Supporting Member Merritt Island Wildlife Assn; Member North Brevard Historical Society; North Guild Brevard Symphony Orchestra Life Member; American Legion Post 1. Hubert also donated over 9 gallons to the Central Florida Blood Bank.
