Hugh was a wonderful, generous, thoughtful friend and we will always remember with fondness the great times we shared with him (and Monica & Thomas) both in Saudi and when he retired and moved the family to Katy. I cannot think of better people to have as friends, always thinking of others, always willing to help out in any way possible. Our last visit with Hugh, Monica & Thomas was at my son's wedding in Austin this past July. It meant so much to me and to Jonathan, David and Kevin to have them with us for that very special event. For people who don't know what it's like living in a foreign country for 20+ years, friends are your family and Hugh was one of the very best friends we have ever had. He will be sorely missed, but he will never be forgotten. With Deepest Sympathy and Prayers,

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Hugh Black was a wonderful man whom my father, Lester Stephens and my family thought the world of. May God give you all great comfort during this difficult time.
