Where do i begin?! This sweet lady Iona Scott was such a sweet lady but reminded me of a true OG.She was down for hers and was wise at everything she did. I loved kicking back with her and listen to the stories she had. It was always a gd day when I would see her smiling even though she was fighting through her battles. She was a true warrior. She fought hard and never gave up. I will always hold her in a special place in my heart. I Love You Iona Scott! I miss you deeply and you will never be forgotten. You were one of a kind that's for sure. You gave me hope. Thank You for the gd memories.

My beautiful mom god I can't believe it's almost a year. When I feel like my heart might break or if I feel defeated I stop and think of you and the strength you had mom you stayed with a loving heart and never let any shit get you down. Everything is so little when I have lost my mother and best friend but all I do I do to make sure I see you again. Love you so much gammy

The Gate Keepers

We usually stand by the gate on hot summer nights,
Listening for a Harley as it slowly rumbles by;
In a silent salute to friends that have died,
Saying goodbye on the hot summer night;

Once in a while, they ride through the gate,
Rusted, and busted and twisted with age;
The men walk slowly with shimmering eyes,
The women with tears say lonely goodbyes;

Every once in a while someone comes to stay,
How they came here, it’s hard to say;
Sometimes they go down on some stretch of highway,
Some say goodbye the old-fashioned way;

As our brothers and sisters are laid to rest,
The leaves seem to rustle with a quiet sigh;
As the spirits of our brothers and sisters,
Say their last goodbye;

We’ll never forget the lives that we’ve led,
No matter whether they were good or bad:
The wonderful time that we had in our lives,
Riding down the highways with friend’s on our bikes:

The thundering vibrations as we roar down the road,
The gentle touch of the ones we no longer hold;
The love of our brothers and sister worth more than gold,
These are the things we will miss to our very souls;

On one of these long lonely days,
You’ll see an Angel on some lonesome highway;
Please! Stop and Wait!
Think of ones inside that rusted gate;
For we are the Guardian Angels that hold your fate;

Butterfly Rose's
There is a prayer in heaven and a promise to keep
We sailed on the wings of fragrance made of butterfly rose's
They carried us through the years with seabreeze in our hair
We walked the Pier where gyspy women promised
"There will be no tears"
Fourty years have passed and the violin plays a song for me
However sad it may sound it is her song of beauty
It is her voice telling me "I am Leather and you are Lace...
We are Sisters and I will meet you at the garden gate...
Come... the Butterfly rose's are waiting
Midnight is approaching and the rose's are blooming...

Life's Lessons

It's not fair, I just can't let go
I sit here and plead, why must she go?

She is my everything, my mom and my best friend
Now that you have taken her, where do I begin?

Mom lived her life for others, giving until no end
She's the one who told us to stand up and defend
Defend our truths,
defend our rights and live as we dream
Defend the right to live our life
Anyway we see

You taught me life's lessons,
and undivided love
Right from the beginning,
When you told me not to shove

Cuts and scrapes, bumps and bruises
Required all your love
Calming me when I was upset,
About who stole my favorite gloves

Fresh baked bread in the morning,
cookies in the afternoon
Watching mom cook and bake,
there's nothing I'd rather do
To have that chance, to have her back,
even the smell of her perfume
A mother's touch, her soothing words
To hear her say "I love you"

You lost a strong fight against Cancer,
Let it be what may
Even on your hardest days, you'd say
" I'm just having a no hair day"

Someday I will see you again
Not soon enough I know
I do my best to look past the how, look past the why
Why so soon must you go?

You came, you loved, you conquered
This I hope you see
The only question I ask of you is,
Are you proud of me?

If flowers grow in heaven,
Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

I am my mothers daughter

I am my mothers daughter.

I am my mothers daughter, the light that shines in her eyes.
And now that light is gone, all I do is cry.

I am my mothers daughter, from the lessons you taught me in life.
You were always there for me in happiness and in strife.

I am my mothers daughter, I inherited my strengths from you.
I know that lifes a struggle, I know the pain you went through.

I am my mothers daughter, you taught me wrong from right.
You taught me when to bend, or when to stand up and fight.

I am my mothers daughter, we struggled just to survive.
I wouldn't of changed a thing, we knew what it meant to be alive

I am my mothers daughter, I truly know of unconditional love
I can even feel it now, as you look down on us from above.

I am my mothers daughter, your wisdom has been instilled in me
I wish that you were still here, but now your truly free

I am my mothers daughter, your loving heart, your fiery rage
your resilience inspires me,and your memories will remain

I am my mothers daughter, and through me you will live eternally
I will share your love through my children and the generations for all eternity

I am my mothers daughter, but your death has left me feeling alone
I will never see your pretty face again or hear your sweet voice, when
im home.
I am my mothers daughter, and I know you dont want me to be sad
you would want me to reflect on all the love and all the good times that we had

I am my mothers daughter, I'll stay strong, because I'm relied upon
I am the matriarch now, I have your legacy to carry on.

I love you mom

BLUE LEE
To Those Whom I Love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years

I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thank you for the love each have shown
But now it is time I traveled on alone

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart

I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and a

...WELCOME HOME...

A face that is always on my mind,
A smile I have seen a million times,
Two eyes that would light up the sky at night,
One last battle you could not fight,
The day was normal, then night then morn.
I had no clue that soon you would be gone,
I clasped your hand, I was out of time.
To stay with us you fought so hard,
A million pieces went my heart,
Now a photo I look at to see your smile,
I often sit and talk to you...
A video I watch to hear your voice,
This I do.... I have no choice.,
But great memories I will always keep with me,
Your love in my heart for eternity,
I never got to say goodbye,
To understand why, I can but try,
Waiting in heaven from this moment on,
'Till God asks you to bring me home....
