How do I describe Irene, my mother? She was outgoing, very socially active, an organizer, assertive and loved. Until she became ill in her very late 80's, she had an incredible ability to stay in touch with people and would travel the country to those she loved. Her favorite pass time in her retirement was golfing - she was very good. I love and miss her terrribly - she is with me always!
