Iris's birthday present.

Throughout our blissful marriage,Iris liked to receive her birthday present on New Year's eve.Because her birthday fell on Epiphany,(Jan.6th),Iris's family and friends bought her one gift to suffice for Christmas and her birthday.
A charm bracelet was fitted with a charm each year,once it was what I thought was a pair of teddy bears.It was selected from a window display,after requesting a certain numbered charm on a particular pad.
'Why've you bought me this?',Iris asked.'It's just like you,dear',I answered.'Little and cuddly'.Should have worn my specs,the charm was a miniature pair of boxing gloves!
