Irma Blalock Crabtree, 85, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, August 19th, 2013 at The Oakes at Mayview in Raleigh, North Carolina.  She was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and worked for Dr. Bryan Finch for over thirty years.  Her love of flowers led her to work part-time at “The Flower Shop” during her retirement years.  She was an artist, seamstress, musician and wonderful Mother who was much loved by those she met.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 at Oxford Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter Sue Frances Crabtree Newton and son-in-law Mike of Raleigh.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM in the church parlor prior to the service.

Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the Crabtree family.
