"Daddy, I miss you. Every single day I miss you."
"Dad, I miss you lots. The Church in Kipkeru is finally being built and I know you would have been very proud to see God's house being built...because that is was you lived all your life doing. Building people spiritually and building houses of prayer and worship.
Thank you for teaching by example to being part of God's business!"
"Daddy, I miss you very much. Thank you for showing what to love Jesus means...through thick and thin. You were the best example of a life well lived for Christ!"
"The best dad ever...I miss you daddy. Thank you for teaching me to love Jesus and family!"
"Every day is a pain but also a day closer to being with you in eternity. I miss you every single day my dearest brother. death is conquered at the throne of Christ. Jesus is risen and you will rise again. I love you very much and miss you..it pains!
Dad, I miss you so much...I think of you all of time ..I miss your voice, your voice, your smile and most importantly your wise counsel. You were the best dad, I could ever ask for.
Thank you for showing that loving Jesus is the most important accomplishment in life!"
"Daddy, I leave this flower for you. I miss you and look forward to the day we meet at His feet NEVER to part again. No pain, no cancer, no death...just praising. ...Yesu dak irit chunya! I love you dad and miss you every single day!"

"January 7 2010, dad left never to come back! You went home where your heart was always longing to be and where you worked to be all those years serving the Lord. I miss you dad, and I thank God every single day for the moments we had together. The laughter, the discipline and the fun we had as a family! You are the best dad one can ever ask for. Till we meet at the feet of the Lord."
"We remember Isaac our friend and mentor often. Today I was just thinking of how I would like to talk to him about my own journey as I continue to live for our Lord and learn new things about life and redemption as I get older. I am he are enjoying my Sister Betty's arrival on Dec. 22nd. I thank God for a true brother from a different mother."
"As we fondly remember Isaac we send our love to Margaret and the family."
"Baba, your gentle soul spoke volumes. Though my dad passed away in 1998, he knew that my whole family could count on you to provide us with a father's love. You did all that and more. Thank you for being such a great father-in-law and dad."
"We missed you greatly at Christmas, but you are in a better place, thank you for being the best dad, friend and supporter."
"Friend and Brother,
We continually miss you and your friendship which changed both our ministry posture and relationship with Christ. The Wed. am meeting of men who lived internationally are very familiar with the phase, "My friend Isaac ...." Thanks for believing in me and helping me grow in my ability to serve. You truly did "rewire" my heart and mind. Blessings to the Simbiri family as they continue to serve the Lord he loved. Uncle Ken"

"Dad I miss you many many times. I miss hearing you say "yeah" over the phone. I miss the moments when you would arrive late at the airport to pick me up. You were the best dad anyone could ever ask for and I thank God that you were my dad. Thank you for teaching me to love Jesus. I want to keep the faith and hope till we meet."
"Isaac was one of the most patient and kind people I knew. As a young missionary - who was impatient he was constantly giving me space to learn and grow even when I might be upset. I remember one time when we were in a village conducting training he surprised me by asking me to do a session I had not done before. This was the second or third time he had surprised me and it upset me. After ranting about why couldn't he give me warning and let me know what sessions he wanted me to be prepared for ahead of time - he was quiet for a moment then said Ok form now on be prepared to do all the session - oops - I got what I asked for -- but never forgot that lesson. I was indeed prepared and continued to learn so much from his gentle mentoring and care."
"I remember as a child Jaduong Simbiri and Dani would invite me for a sleep over on many weekends. These were happy times. Dani always baked me a cake and Jaduong always told me funny stories, carrying me on his lap, as I lay my head peacefully on his chest i would listen to his heart beat and make note if it's rhyming with mine or not. These are part of my happy childhood memories. I trully miss you Jaduong' and pray that we shall one day meet in heaven. Your memory lives on in my heart."
"GOD IS IN CONTROL OF LIFE AND DEATH
“You have decided the length of our lives. You know how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer.” (Job 14:5)
THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH
“It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.” (1 Cor. 15: 42-44)
“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!” (Job 19:25)"
"A Dad is that person who is always remembered by his children for all the good things he did for them long after he has gone. The tribute from the children are a manifestation of what a special Dad you were. You might have left this earthly World we live in but your good deeds and memory still lives on. You will always be remembered for being the lovely Dad that you were ."
"I remember how you always bought mum flowers on valentine's day and also how you remembered all our birthdays and made a point of buying us cards on our birthdays. Jayne's birthday passed and valentine passed. Thank you for your love and care..."
"The last Bible verse he quoted for us at Aga Khan Hospital, a few days before he left, was Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.""
"The beauty of having you and mum in my life was how you both instilled the love of Christ and always reminded us that being in God's plan is far important than anything else. ...much more important that silver and gold! Thank you dad...Mum is still reminding and teaching us of that!"
"I know you were looking forward to go to see those streets of gold...at Mombasa airport I remember both of us looking at the beautiful floor and you remarking "this floor is so beautiful but imagine we are told that the streets are made of gold in heaven, how beautiful is that!" now you are walking them, what glory, ji-enjoy japuonj!!!!"
"They are all referring to you as 'Baba' yet you referred to me as 'baba'. A name no one else in the whole wide world used for me except you. Sometimes when talking to my children I would refer to you as 'my son'. When I look back and think of my earliest memories of who a christian is, you come to mind. You are the earliest memory I have of someone living for God. And you kept the faith to the end. I am glad that through your influence, the Simbiri name and family has remained and that the name brings memories of people who live for and love the Lord. I too came to know the Lord and have lived for Him through your influence in Atieno's life. Till we meet again 'son'."
"This candle reminds me of Matthew 5: 16
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven".
You had you light shining before others. We thank God for your light which still shines..."
"Dad this flower is to remind of how much you loved farming and we are still enjoying those mangoes and paw paws that you left us. And of course the flowers that you planted around the house. I am sure you are enjoying the beautiful garden of the Lord. Can't wait to enjoy it too when the Lord calls me home."
"Baba you will forever live in our hearts. Rest in eternal peace."
"Baba, will always miss your presence in my life, but it is a comfort to know that you are with Christ where you belong and are happiest and that one day we will all be together again with other saints."
"Dad you taught us to love Jesus and to love one another. Thank you for being a great father."
