When i joined High school, group affliation through a mutual friend Nicholas Ojwang Obudho popularly referred to as Young introduced me to Isaiah Ojijo. Odhis as we fondly referred to him had just completed high school and was keeping himself busy.

What struck me about Odhis was his attitute towards life. He was humble, very positive, full of energy and always encouraged me to work hard in school. To keep us off drugs and other bad influence, he introduced us to physical fitness.i.e body building.

Every morning and evening before and after  school in the company of my friend young we would visit the gym and work out.

Odhis had a cubicle that was his resting place. I must mention that the room was clean and tidy. That was the place we spent most of our weekend afternoons story telling and making fun. He as well introduced me to novell reading, he always had a book to read.He had the desire to aquire more information and was well informed on current affairs. He read newspapers on a daily basis.

Odhis introduced me to his family. Both his parents and siblings wellcomed us and we became like members of their family. Despite the fact that he was older than myself, my mother was pleased when he heard of my association with him.

I will forever miss ISRAEL; as he once bragged to me that his name Isaiah  was originally ISRAEL and that it symbolised a ROCK. I have never bothered to confirm the same.

Odhis, despite the fact that you went to be with the lord before me, your memories will forever be with me. May Your soul rest in peace brother.
