Israel Jean Medina aka Poky was born to Josefa and Luis Medina on March 23,1968 in Alice,Texas.Israel had one sister Janice Garcia and three brothers George,Billy,Roy.Israel married Jenniffer lynn Medina on April 22,1995 and renewed thier vows March 8,2014. They share three children Brittney Nicole,Briana Jewel and one son Matthew Lee and one step-daughter Karissa Anne,one grandson AIden Antonio Rosales.
Israel was proceded in death by his parents and his brothers George and BIlly Medina one cousin Albert and father in law Ervin Dean Gunnink.
Last year Israel and I lost my dad Ervin Gunnink to pancreatic Cancer on May 18,2013, June 17,2013 Israel lost his brother Billy and on August 6,2013. 
Israel started to get servere migrane headaches,stiff neck and pain to his right arm after seeing a dr they at first didn't know what was wrong with him, we kept going to hospital and finally got back again with the primary dr, after two ct scans were done and came out normal Israel woke up with a mass on top of his head, with more test and on October 18,2013 6:30am we found out Israel had stage four brain cancer and they didn't know where it came from that Israel had few days,few weeks to few months to live and even though several rounds of cemo and medication cemo had no chance,we held on to our faith lived each day to the fulliest we loved each day made new memories held on to one another until Israel told me he was going with Jesus on friday this was on Monday he told me, I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to think of him leaving we shared a lifetime of loving one another,there was never a day that didn't go bye we didn't say I love you we were each other soul, Israel last words were to me and I to him I love you he went home with Jesus.The nurse said Israel was waiting on something and it was my final blessing for him to go, my heart and soul can't even describe the heartache the pain it is to loosing a beautiful husband and dad and grandpa Israel was so full of life made each day beautiful.for six and a half months I took care of Israel  I didn't know what sleep was or food life was changing fast and didn't and don't know what will happen on I'm mom an dad know our two daughters brittney,Karissa they are on there own and Matthew and Briana are at home Briana is 15,Matthew 11. Israel was a pipeline foreman for 29 yrs he loved the pipeline and loved to barbeque he worked with Texas Catering for two yrs there top worker.Israel touched many lives he had so many friends and family that love him dearly.  I was looking for a grieve support I don't have nobody just our children and family is out of state and in a few days my beautiful angel has been gone, I didn't know this website had a memorial page for loved ones hestiated to do this and then got the courage to do it. My heart and soul Israel took with him everyday as I hold on to our children and grandson I feel your heartbeat your love, the last thing Israel and I talked about was what did he want me to do he told me love our children like you do and love them for both of us and this is what I do each day. I love you and I miss you I can't even describe the pain that holds in my heart can't breath empty inside you were my heart and soul and always will be I told you this before Jesus took you home I read psalm 23 and the Lords prayer and held Israel in my arms I told him not to be afraid to take Jeus hand and that he takes my heart and soul with him I love you and he looked at me one last time said I love you and he left to Jesus. We love you and miss you we will make you proud and we know you are watching over us our beautiful guardian angel love you for always your wife Jenniffer and children Brittney,Briana,Matthew,Karissa and grandson Aiden in our hearts and you are always in our thoughts each day till we see you in Heaven what a beautiful and glorius day it will be to meet you and Jesus and all of our loved ones.
