Dot,
I was saddened to learn of Gurson’s passing.  You and Gurson always were great friends to my Dad and a mentor to me in my childhood. I have fond memories of my early days in West Point, Batson Cook and especially you!

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Just want to say that the world has lost a great man. Like a brother to my father, and one of the kindest, warmest and exceptional men I have known. I am so glad he was my uncle. --One of the few that would be worthy of a father-figure for me, and a great example of how to live and love your life…with no regrets.

I can’t say enough good about you and Dot, the great family that brought you to us, the other “kinfolk” that surrounded you--and who will be there for Dot. Rest in peace Uncle Gurson.

T.K. and I were saddened to hear of Uncle Gurson's passing. We would like to offer our condolences to Aunt Dot and the rest of his family.

Uncle Gurson was one of the nicest and kindest persons I've ever met. Always seemed to be in a pleasant mood and have a smile on his face. He was a joy to be around. Our world sure could use more folks like him.

Rest in peace, Uncle Gurson. 87 years on this earth is a fantastic achievement.
