When Jack was sick a few years ago, I went to hospital to see him. Alam and Donna were there when I got there. He had had trouble remembering faces and people. Alma ask her dad if he knew who I was and he said "why sure, that's Cathy". We talked and chatted with each other and before long, Jack started talking like he was sitting at his kitchen table talking to us girls. Before it was over with he had held the best sermon right there in that hospital and said the most beautiful prayer. Well needless to say when he was done, I had to turn around and walk to the window so he would not see me crying. Most amazing person he was. I never saw him when he was just not the happiest person and would alway quote a verse from the Bible to you. Love him and Ms. Dorthey like second parents. I love his family dearly.
