Jack & Dixie were our wonderful neighbors & dear friends for over 20 yrs. after Jack retired & they moved to CA. Always the Marine, he was a kind and decent man, always looking for ways to help his neighbors and contribute to his community. We feel blessed to have had them so close to us. Condolences to his family and my dear friend, Dixie.

My heart is heavy as I offer my condolences to Jack's family.

When I think of Jack, I see his broad and welcoming smile, and I recall the quality of his gentle and insistent intelligence, and his humor that seemed never to fail him. I remember his lovely southern manners which were always so charming to me, and I remember the stories he shared with me, about his childhood and his time in the Marines and his early courtship of Dixie, whom he so clearly loved because it shone from him, and he would amaze me with the quality and clarity of his recollection.

I cherish those stories now...in the small ways that I knew Jack, he seems to have left me with so much, imprinting me with his character somehow, and it's only now that I realize it. I'm thankful and Dearest Jack, I am so lucky to have known you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mr.Meyer and our years on Regalhill. The photo gallery y'all put together is a testament to a life well lived-thank you for sharing. I will pray that your family especially feels God's grace and provision- and that you take comfort in His wonderful promise of eternal life.

Dad ~ You were my first love and you will forever live in my heart. You were one of the kindest, loving persons I have ever known. I'm comforted to know that you are no longer in pain and among your loved ones that have passed before you. You are truly now my Angel in Heaven. Save me a seat because I'll be seeing you again one day. Your faithful and loving daughter ~ Marsi
