Hey Sonshine
Hey Sonshine, I finally got to see your little girl after 5 years. The last time Elly let me see her was in December of 2013. I wish you were here so maybe it would not have taken so long. Emma has grown up so much. She is 9 years old and tall like you were. She has the most beautiful blue eyes. And she looks a lot like you. Emma also has a lot of you in her. I am so thankful that Elly's mom Jane brought Emma to see us. She had Ems' for a few week and took her on a vacation from West Va. to Tenn. She stopped in Salem for a while so we could visit her and Emma. Emma did not recognize her grandpa or me. Jane had to tell her who we were. When Emma saw us, she gave us such great big hugs. Of course, knowing your mother, I did cry. I wish you could see her. I had pictures on phone for her to see that I took off the computer. She saw a picture of you and she knows you are her daddy. That is the first thing she asked. So she did not forget who you are. I have to get back to my school work Honey before I start crying again. I just wanted to let you know about Emma, your little girl.Keep watching over her and us. You sleep easy Honey and someday, we will be together again. One more thing I want to tell you. Your dad is having trouble with his breathing and his legs are in bad shape. But he keeps trying to go as much as he can, which is not much and your grandpa's cancer is back and he has an aneurysm in his stomach. It seems to be getting a little bigger. Becky called and said he had a cat scan done and we are waiting on the results. I will write to you again when I get a chance. We love and miss you so very much. Rest easy son. Love from Mom and dad.
