At 4:55pm on Saturday September 22nd 2012 my beautiful daughter was pronounced dead at her home in Derbyshire. Jade was brutally murdered by her boyfriend of 7 months. He is currently remanded at Her Majesty's pleasure awaiting trial. But we aren't here to talk about him; he has taken more than enough from us and we will give him no more!

This site is not intended to be a miserable place. The purpose of this memorial is to celebrate the life of my beautiful daughter, Jade.

The devastation at the loss of such a wonderful young women is extremely hard on both family and her many friends. It is difficult to put into words just how lost we all are without Jade, such was the impact she made on us all. She never said a bad word about anyone, she was always there if you needed a shoulder to lean on and everyone loved her.

Jade worked hard and liked the finer things in life. She had a very good job, her own house, a brand new car and was lively and vibrant. She loved her life and all those within it.

The beauty within Jade shone through and gave her the beauty you see on the outside.

It is early days yet, just 8 weeks since she left us, and we have a long arduous journey ahead of us, but for now, I find it therapeutic to create and maintain this website. I can share memories and photographs of Jade to build a picture of her short life which I can share with others.
