James Carroll Purdy was a very loving brother, son, husband, father.


James joined the United States Army while in boot camp he married the love of his life.  Sandra Lee Frantz  James and Sandra loved the travels the military had them doing.  They visited so many sites and not once did he ever forget and would send me a gift that represented where they were.


James joined the Garden Grove Police Department and became a K9 officer his partners name was Bend a beautiful german shepard and what a character he was they were meant for each other.


My two sons thought the world of Uncle Jim... The oldest Robert used to have him come to school for show and tell days.  He was so proud of Uncle Jim.  My youngest son's middle name is James after Uncle Jim, and he has alot of Jims ways, movements and the way he looks at different times,  Actually both boys resemble James in one way or another, James took my one son to some cave built in the side of New Mexico hills, he enjoyed showing Brandon around.  James was looking forward to showing Brandon around whenhe has himto ome down in summer 2009, unfortunantly Jim didnt survive that long.  The daay the call came in that he had passed Brandon began showing his aaaaaaanger side and cried for times on end.  Brandon was very close to Uncle Jim.

James and Sandra had a daughter together her name is Jessica and there wasnt anything he wouldnt do for her, or buy for her it was so funny.  She would make Jim's face glow with happiness. James always was proud of Jessica he always made sure he told everyone how proud he was of her, I'm sure there were lots of times he never told her how proud he was but man he was extremely proud.  Now I am sure he is watching over her from above,,,  HE LOVES YOU JESSICA.  :)

At the end Jim was in the Navel Guard, then Army National Guard and was a detective in Albuquerque.  He is certainly missed by all!  I Love You Bro!!!!!
