RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — MAYERSCIK – James D., 46, Richland Township, died Feb. 2, 2014. Born June 14, 1967, in Johnstown, son of James J. and Judith C. (Mauk) Mayerscik. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Claire Mauk; paternal grandparents, Emery and Emma Mayerscik; aunt, Barbara Judd; and uncle, Carl Williams. Survived by parents, Johnstown; daughter, Jamie L. Mayerscik, Johnstown; sister, Judith, married to Jeffrey Pribulsky, Springdale, Pa.; nephews, Cameron and Ryan Pribulsky; aunt, Ellie Williams, Johnstown; and uncles, Timothy (Beth) Mauk, Bloomsburg; George Judd, Indiana and girlfriend, Theresa Glass, Salix. Also survived by numerous cousins and lifelong friends. Jim worked for Bethlehem Steel for many years and was a shipping clerk at Lockheed Martin. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating and camping, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He loved his family and his beloved dog, “Alex.” Jim had many dear friends, and he loved them all. He was a 1985 graduate of Richland High School. Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, Nancy Hoover, officiating.
