Things my Dad taught me
My Dad Fred was very patient and kind hearted.
He never got upset with me, never repremanded me. Never spanked me.
He was the one to teach me how to ride a 2 wheeled bike. I still recall his hand holding the seat to steady me.
He could ride a bike too. He took Charles for a ride with a childs seat on the back. I have a picture. To prove it.
He taught me how to drive cars. Stick and automatic. He wanted to make sure I could drive everthing in case of an emergency.
He also taught me to parellel park, He did a great job.I thank him every time I park.
He taught me my times tables. Even paid me to learn them.
It didn't help . I wasn't good at learning them.
He taught me by example, how to be nice to people.
How to get a good deal.
How to sell things.
He also taught me how to take good care of my car.
The best thing my Dad taught me , was to how to be loving ,kind, and to work hard, do my very best at everything I do. To be honest. If you borrow something return it.
Thank you Pop
