His Life
August 22, 2014

Mr. Lark was born in Honea Path, S. C. on July 8, 1939, the son of the late Eulice Lark and Emma Ruth Lollis Lark. He was a Christian by faith. Since he was a young man he had been a hard worker. He was retired from Ceradyne Thermo Materials after thirty-one years of service. All who knew Mr. James would tell you he was a man who enjoyed the simple things of life. Being with family, earning and honest day’s wage for a full day of labor, and a good full day of fishing was enough to make him content. His children and grandchildren were the delight of his world. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Searcy (Chan) of Locus Grove, GA., and April Lark of Mountain City, GA.; one son, Robbie Lark (Beth) of Franklin, GA.; one sister Judy Bollinger (Ed) of Maiden, N. C.; one brother, Larry Lark (Shelia) of Mountain City, GA.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Rachael Anderson.
