"My Sparky
Well my love it has been almost a year since God called you home yet it seems like it was yesterday. I am doing a little bit better but I still don't understand some of the feeling that my Heart may never mend. Yes I am going to always have a hole in my life that no one else can fill. I love you with a love far greater than even I can comprehend. I will continue to go through this life and try to live for our family. Because they are hurting too. And I will always do my best to give to them that special kind of love that you gave. You were a very special man and you left a legacy for all of them to live by. Yes my love you will always be a big part of our lives and your memory will forever live inside our hearts."

"It's times like these when I miss you the most! When we would be doing something we both loved to do which was a lot of stuff but mostly huntin or fishin and as I sit here in the stand by myself I miss you more than anything and all I want to do is cry but I end up smiling instead. I smile because I start to think of all the good and funny times oh there were so many but here are just a few that will always be at the fore front of my memories: the time I shot my big deer oh yeah and I almost knocked you out of the stand when I jumped up kinda whisper/hollerin "I got him I got him", then of course I can't forget about you setting yourself on fire in the deer stand that was well I don't know if you wanted many people to know that lol and of course we can't forget the softball games and the big bullseye in centerfield and $100 bill with who's ever name on it that could hit it and not being able to start a basketball game until "my Daddy" showed up to cheer us on and holler lol well maybe one more thing "HEY SWEETLIPS" across the Wal-Mart parking lot I thought Mom was gonna have a coronary but we were all used to it and we all loved you that much more for it! I love and miss you so dearly Daddy until we meet again give em heck up there ol' man!"

"James (My Sparky) You my love was the light of my life. From the first time I met you I knew that we were going to be together until death parted us. You helped me to raise 3 beautiful and wonderful kids and they in turn gave us 11 fantastic grandkids. I miss you more every day and during the night too. But I know you loved me dearly and your spirit is with me all I need to do is look up and I feel you close. My friend, confidante, husband and lover. I will never stop loving you."
