Starkes, James E., 87, Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Starkes will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with interment in Parkhill Cemetery.
The visitation will begin Friday at 2:00 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6 til 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

he was my wife's uncle a very loving man and uncle to my wife.i will remember him as the quiet man tha did not do a lot of talking,but was very stem in his conversation when he did have something to say.hr will be messed by all of us ,but God needed him to come and to be with him so that he could have some "peace" and may God bless his soul.
