James Walter “J.W.” Wrenn, 22, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 31, at Duke University Medical Center.

A native of Granville County, the son of James and Robbie Morgan Wrenn and Andy and Kathy Clayton. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Revlon in Oxford for many years.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by the Rev. Cam Ford.

Surviving other than his parents are a sister, Destiny Clayton of Timberlake, a brother, Morgan Wrenn, his grandparents, James and Beatrice Wrenn, his grandmother, Jean Morgan and his granddaddy, Walter Parker all of Oxford, and many special family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Parker.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00 – 12:00 A.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of his parents.

The Whitt family loved Sweet JW. We will miss him terribly and are all heart broken by his passing.
