Grandma Famous Whip Cream Cake

May 3, 2016

My Grandma loved to make her Strawberry Whip Cream cake but after awhile Grandma said she was to old to spend so much time to make the cake.  I remember this time when I visited Grandma and she made me her famous cake.  I believe this was the last time she made this cake.  Luckily everyone that loved this cake got to enjoy it on this day.  Thank You for the love Grandma.

My favorite Memories of Grandma

May 3, 2016

It's hard to pick just one my favorite memories with grandma. Looking back at my life with her, I loved how she always had such a strong sense of family values. Every Sunday when I was growing up, she would drive us to Cicero to see the great grandparents. I always had such a great time eating and being entertained by the family. If it wasn't for grandma, I wouldn't have these great memories of them. Grandma always wanted everyone to get together and eat. Our lives centered around food, it was on of grandmas favorite pasttimes. How I loved her strawberry whip cream cakes and her home made cream puffs. To this day, I've never had anyones that was better than hers. She made them with love. At Easter time she would make pound cakes and decorate them with coconut and jelly beans. That and parties, she loved a good party. She would always say to the grandkids, whose getting married ? I want to go to a party ! I hope you are having many parties in heaven grandma. I hope to join you one day !
