Her Life
February 27, 2016

Mrs. Haire was born in Hebron, Wisconsin, on November 20, 1925, the daughter of the late, Lena Amanda Schmidt Kreklow and Albert Kreklow. She was a Lutheran by faith. After her children were grown she enjoyed volunteering at the Atlanta Airport where she was a part of the Travelers Aid Department. The help she administered to many weary travelers brought comfort in great times of distress. After her husband passed away she moved to Franklin, Georgia to live with her daughter Colleen Stephens, and her husband Chuck. She spent many hours feeding and watching the beautiful birds that flew into her sanctuary. She also enjoyed any type of puzzles, and became a master at anything you put before her. She was a wonderful writer, and her family depended on her to share with them all of her knowledge of their family history written in her wonderful journals. The joy of her life and her constant companion was her dog, Susie. Her family gave her wonderful care. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Stephens (Chuck) of Franklin, GA., and Cindy Pallon (Randy) of Jonesborough, GA.; son, Mike Haire (Melanie) of Conyers, GA.; four grandchildren, Christine Carroll (Marty) of Roopville, GA., Corey Pallon of Atlanta, GA., Chip Stephens (Marti) of Bowdon, GA., and Clint Stephens (Amanda) of Franklin, GA.; four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Luke, and Lanie Carroll of Roopville, GA., and Hank Stephens of Franklin, GA.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by three siblings, Elsie Krause, Ed Kreklow, and Harlow Kreklow.
