High School Senior
She didn't just survive secondary education. Besides a good student, Janet set a new watermark in achievement. She represented the Anchor Club as Kick-off Queen, and assisted the coaches with the baseball team. She played in the school orchestra as one of their best violinists, was in several clubs and a host of extracurricular activities. She sang carols at Christmas parties in Palm Beach. Here her senior picture.
School Girl
Within the gallery of this site are her school pictures to enjoy. We note that Janet was routinely at the center of attention throughout. She was fully engaged in whatever she did, particularly extracurriclar activities, and always building a circle of friends. And she rarely if ever was NOT turning the heads of the boys. Here is her first school picture.

A Baby Princess is Born
With one and only one son in the family and already three daughters, yours truly, the brother (and I guess my sisters as well) really were counting on the parents to bring home a new little baby boy in early April 1958. But it was not to be, and while for a brief moment or two, I experienced some disappointment, I can say that lasted but only a few moments as I was introduced to and met my princess sister, Janet. She was then, and she was always a beautiful girl and a lady.
