Granny, I cannot imagine coming home and not having your smile and hugs waiting for us. My heart breaks knowing that we never got to say good bye. My eyes are filling up with tears as I am writing this to you, how time has flown by and shows no slowing down any time soon. From the first day I met you and missy (witch your grandson did not tell me he was taking me to meet you too) you both were so loving and open armed to me. all three of us setting on the deck laughing at the stories of Justin and his brothers and sisters and all the trouble they use to cause you. Lol but the love you two had in your eyes I knew I was home. Thank you for loving me, Justin and all the grandkids with unwavering love. Your kindness and gentle hugs will forever be with us. Please know that we will hold our memories close to our hearts and forever miss you. I love you!

Granny, words can't explain to you how much my heart aches. I remember meeting you for the first time I was so nervous but you welcomed me with open arms. All the zickmunds did. You always told me that you saw how much your son loved me even when I didn't see it. You told me to never give up on loving him. Can't believe that was 9 years ago. You were one of the first people we told when we got pregnant and found out it was a boy! The smile on your face showed the excitement. Your great grandson will know what a great person u were and the love you had for lee and his siblings and for him even tho u didn't know him yet. We love you granny.

Sadly we lost Janice, and our hearts ache but we know she is in a better place. Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, we all are meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay. Our destination is a place far greater than we know, for some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow, and when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord. A limb has fallen from our family tree that says grieve not for me remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong. We love you mom, always and forever in our hearts.
