Janis Labenz, born January 9, 1952, passed away on November 1, 2012.

Janis is survived by her grandson, Liam James Labenz, son Christopher Labenz and daughters Jamie and Stacey Labenz. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Fewer and sister, Sharon Foitlyn-Lilly.  Predeceased by her father, James Fewer, her husband James Labenz and a son, James Labenz.

Janis was a dedicated teacher in the Pennsville School District. She loved to read and spend time outdoors. She was a beautiful person and a loving mother and grandmother. She will be forever missed.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Sun. Nov. 4 from 7-9 PM at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ. There will be another viewing on Mon. Nov. 5 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the CATHOLIC COMMUNITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Parish Center, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ, where her Funeral Mass will begin at 11AM.  Interment Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.
