The careless

December 5, 2015

On the night before the day on which Jayant was to leave the city for his college the first time, we went to buy him some bedsheets and hunks . We had plans for watching "Bahubali" that night . The show was to start an hour&half later so he thought of spending some leisure time for the last time in Bokaro and so we went to our usual "phuku point" and he started smoking and said ,"saala soch rahe aaj pura ek dabba maar le ab to 3 mahina baad aenge." when suddenly a policeman (tiger mobile) appeared from our right whom we have had ignored because of the dark night approaching 10pm. He asked us to come along with him and seeing absolute loneliness , asked for bribe . Jayant recorded all of this as an audio file uploaded it to the onedrive and said to him that he has sent the audio to his frnd and he would upload it everywhere if he doesn't let us go back home . Hearing this, he was infuriated and began beating us but Jayant saved me saying that this all is his fault and as a reward got 4 whacks on his buttocks and hands. Somehow we were able to escape from all that drama with his phone being formatted and memory card being taken and with the involvement of a senior officer, at late midnight. And while we were going back home he said to me ,"saala ticket ka paisa waste ho gya re lekin e experience me mza aa gya" !!

Almost safe

December 4, 2015

It was my counselling time at university, when me, Jayant and mother were returning back via train. It was 8:15PM. Train had started chucking slowly. But Jayant was in mood of pranks. Our seat was just beside the coach entry gate. So while in the move, he peeped half of his body out the gate that scared the shit out of us. We hadn't yet completely left the station and so there were a number of electric poles passing closely to the train.

By now, train had picked up the speed. His pranks were still on. However, we ignored them so that he would be fed up of it and return to his seat. After few minutes indeed he did. But he was a little scared. I ignored it. When our mother was asleep, he revealed that while leaning out the door, due to darkness of night, he couldn't see a pole that had come too close to hitting him. Hadn't another passenger standing near door pulled him, he would have been hurt very badly.
