Her Life

A Quick Synopsis

March 15, 2014

Mum was born one of nine surviving children,4 girls and 5 boys and she was number 6.Her Mum Rosina Bishop was also a very special lady and that is obviously where Mum inherited her caring and compassionate side. Although as a family they didn't have a lot they always had each other and they were brought up to belief that family was everything, something mum believed until the day she passed.
In September 1951 Mum married my Dad, George Page, I was born first, followed 2 years later by Michael and almost 15 years later by Gary.
We didn't have a magical childhood but we had a good one, both extended families featured often in our lives and we saw them and spent much time with them especially Mum's family.
Although Mum and Dad were together many years when I was 18 they split up and went their seperate ways, although they remained friends and Mum even went to Dad's second wedding. that was the sort of person she was.
a few years later Mum met Eric and in1975 he and his son Tony moved in. I will be honest at the beginning Eric and I didn't get on, but I can say truthfully now that he was one of the best things to happen to Mum. They had many happy years together, good times at home and on the holidays they shared and both loved. Until the very end Eric cared for Mum and because of this she was able to be at home, in her house filled with the family that she loves when she passed over.
A wonderful Lady who meant so much to so many, who remains deep within our hearts.
